1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using The Local Body Shop's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Services Description
The Local Body Shop provides auto body repair services including but not limited to:
- Collision repair
- Paint and refinishing services
- Dent removal
- Insurance claim assistance
- Vehicle damage assessment and estimates
3. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided are approximations based on visual inspection and may change upon further examination. Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if additional damage is discovered during repairs.
4. Authorization for Repairs
By authorizing repairs, you grant The Local Body Shop permission to operate your vehicle for testing, inspection, and delivery purposes. You also authorize necessary disassembly to perform required repairs.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of repairs unless other arrangements have been made. We accept:
- Cash
- Check
- Major credit cards
- Insurance payments
6. Warranty
We provide a warranty on our workmanship for the period specified in your repair agreement. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage due to accidents, misuse, or normal wear and tear. Parts warranties are subject to manufacturer terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Local Body Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.
8. Storage Fees
Vehicles not picked up within 3 business days after completion notification may be subject to storage fees. We reserve the right to exercise a mechanic's lien for unpaid charges.
9. Insurance Claims
While we assist with insurance claims, we are not responsible for coverage decisions made by insurance companies. Any disputes regarding coverage should be directed to your insurance provider.
10. Personal Property
The Local Body Shop is not responsible for personal property left in vehicles. Please remove all valuable items before leaving your vehicle for repair.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which The Local Body Shop operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
